Columbia University Russian International Association was created to unify and educate the Columbia Community about the Russian language, culture, and the legacy of the Soviet and Post-Soviet regimes.Harriman Insitute at Columbia University is the oldest academic center in the United States devoted to the interdisciplinary study of Russia and the other successor states of the former Soviet Union, East Central Europe, and the Balkans.
